LG OEM LION STANDARD BATTERY 1000MHA Review

(More customer reviews)I've been using this battery for about 1.5 weeks now.It has provided a decent battery life of about 3 days, similar to the original (with approx 3 calls lasting 10-15 min per day plus standby).Here are some concerns.

1. Despite the display picture, the battery is not identical to the original OEM battery.It is "Li-Polymer" rather than "Lithium Ion".Also, it is manufactured in China, rather than the original Korea.I'm not sure if this will make a difference in terms of the life of the battery since I don't know what goes into the "Li-Polymer."It is likely cheaper to manufacture.But so far, it has done well.The original battery only lasted about 1 year for my VX-8100.Hopefully, this will last at least 9 months.

2. I ordered 2 batteries from Amazon/Webtreo.At the time it charged $5.99 for standard shipping.While they both arrived on time, in good condition and in the same SMALL package, they charged me TWICE for shipping.So I paid $12 for something that probably costed them $3 to ship.Just a small annoyance.This is where they are likely making up for the low initial price.
